The P.A.W.S. Preschool at Wellesley Schools’ mission is to provide a learning environment that is safe and healthy and supports every child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Each year, like most schools, we experience budgetary restraints at P.A.W.S. While these shortfalls do not compromise the extraordinary educational experience we provide our students, they do limit our ability to furnish tools and learning experiences that fall outside of our budget.
Below are three separate fundraising campaigns which represent three distinct needs we have at P.A.W.S. this fall, 2016. We respectfully ask you to consider making contribution, in any amount, to one or all of our fall campaigns.
As always, thank you for your support of P.A.W.S! — P.A.W.S. Faculty and Staff
Ken “the Music Man” DoRosario
We are so pleased to have the opportunity to welcome Ken DoRosario into P.A.W.S. Preschool at Wellesley Schools. Ken is a Board Certified Music Therapist with an MA in Expressive Arts Therapy with a specialization in Music Therapy. He is also a Massachusetts Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Ken is passionate about his work and says that his job as a music therapist is “the most exciting and rewarding job imaginable.” The students at P.A.W.S. adore Ken and get very excited when he visits the school.
General Fund / Teachers’ Fund
Each year the teachers at P.A.W.S. Preschool at Wellesley Schools in Wellesley, MA encounter expenses that fall outside of our budget. These expenses range from basic supplies, such as racks and bins for organization, to special teaching aids for a particular lesson, such as Monarch eggs for a classroom butterfly rearing project! Our faculty and staff have more ideas for enriching learning than we have budget to support. With your help, we can accommodate and amplify the educational experience for all students at P.A.W.S.
This year, we hope to raise $7,000 so that we may provide part-time scholarships to two deserving students. We believe that the experience of attending a school like P.A.W.S. can be life-changing in some cases, and we urge you to consider supporting our scholarship fund.
